About the Class:
Over the course of 5 weeks we will look at a selection of contemporary artists, their techniques and then create in their style. We will explore Paper and Thread, Wire and Fabric, Layers, Paint and Cyanotype.
The course is suitable for beginners or intermediates who want to create with others in a relaxed supportive environment. If you have a sewing machine to bring with you, this is ideal but hand sewing will also be suitable.
Fabric will be provided and any other specialist items but please do bring your own cotton and tools such as scissors, ruler, chalk, needles, pins and alike. You are also welcome to bring your own fabric selection in case you prefer a certain style or colour. Individual coloured or pattern pieces of fabric need to be no larger than 20x20 cm, so you can bring scraps.
Suitable for complete beginners and beyond.

You will be greeted with a hot tea or coffee and biscuits on arrival, drinks are provided throughout the day.

Most people attend these workshops alone and make friends with like-minded people on the day, so please don’t worry about coming solo!
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
Cancellations over four weeks before the course/class start date are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another date or course.
Cancellations up to and including 14 days before the event are non refundable. However you are free to send a substitute participant.
Cancellations between four weeks and 14 days before the start date of the course are non refundable. However we may transfer you at our discretion, this relies heavily on the ability to fill your place and may incur an admin fee. You may send a substitute participant.
Any transfer that is subsequently cancelled is not eligible for a refund, whatever the time frame. A second rescheduling is at our discretion.
