About your Tutor:

Andrew paints atmospheric semi-abstract landscapes and seascapes inspired by the countryside and coastline of Northern England. Although Andrew employs a variety of media in his work, he mainly uses acrylics as he prefers the quick drying time and versatility of the medium.

Andrew graduated from York St John University with BA(Hons) in Design and was formerly a teacher with responsibility for Art & Design in a primary school in Harrogate. Since leaving teaching he has focused on his love of painting, drawing and making art. Andrew is currently studying an MA in Creative Practice
