About the Class:

In this afternoon session you will make a stunning spooky stained glass bat using smooth and textured coloured glass!

In this workshop you will be taught how to cut glass safely, grind and shape the glass on a machine, copper foil and then solder to a high standard. Janet will have the heads and ears already prepared as they can be very fiddly for beginners in a 3 hour workshop.

Janet will have a wide selection of coloured glass to choose from. You can hang your bat two ways, upright from the wings or from the bottom of the body so the bat can hang upside down.

If you need reading glasses please bring them!

Suitable for complete beginners and beyond.

What’s Included:

  • All materials and equipment.

  • Qualified and experienced Tutor.

  • You will be greeted with a hot tea or coffee and biscuits on arrival, and drinks are available throughout the session.

  • A fridge available to use for food and drink storage.

Most people attend these workshops alone and make friends with like-minded people on the day, so please don’t worry about coming solo!
