About the Class:

In this class, you will learn how to make your own beautiful fine silver jewellery from silver clay. Tara will show you how to make one to two pendants and/or a pair of earrings, depending on how big you make them. Your pieces will be ready to take home at the end of the day.

Under the expert guidance of Tara, you will be shown how to: create your own mould, roll and cut the clay, texture it, and perform pre- and post-firing finishing, burnishing, and polishing. You can also oxidise the silver to create an antique effect if you wish. This class includes one sterling silver chain or a pair of earring hooks, with additional chains and fittings available to purchase on the day.

There will be a range of textures available. Most will be nature-inspired; however, feel free to bring your own textures, such as bark, feathers, seed heads, leaves with prominent veins, textured wallpaper, lace, etc.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Suitable for complete beginners and beyond.
